Omega V-profile

Assembly principle – How it works

• Assemble vertical support structure:  
  plumb and level (base substructure)


• Attach horizontal support profiles (item no. 597-01): 
  at the selected hole spacing on the base substructure


• Hook OmegaV profiles into the support profiles:
  Secure the positionon the left and right of the hooking tabs with screws (item no. 659).


• Hook in the panels:
  Tool-free installation via retaining grooves on the back.


• Define joints (positioning):
  Optionally with joint profile or joint spacer

Installation instructions

The substructure must be installed in accordance with a project-specific structural analysis. General building approval Z-10.3-844 serves as the basis for this.

• The profiles of the base substructure must be installed plumb and level.
• Attach the horizontal support rail (item no. 597-01) to the base substructure using fasteners in accordance with the structural calculations.
• Hang the OmegaV profiles exactly at the horizontal grid spacing.
• The horizontal spacing of the rails must correspond to the longitudinal grid of the panels.
• Secure the OmegaV profiles in place on the left and right of the mounting lugs with screws (item no. 659).
• For open vertical joints, insert one spacer (item no. 645) per panel into a central pull hole in the panel.
• For closed vertical joints, use the OmegaV joint profile (item no. 707).

OmegaV profiles and joint profiles are available for all standard grids from 20 cm. Other grids are available on request.

Please note: The use of silicone rubbers should generally be avoided, as silicone oils migrate and create sticky, dirt-binding surfaces. Therefore, please use only the recommended system components or consult with us regarding the planned products before processing. The usual final cleaning of the building is still required. A warranty for the KeraTwin® K20 system within the scope of general building approval no. Z-10.3-844 only applies when using the system components shown on these pages.
