Assembly principle - how it works:

Installing T-profiles:
Vertical T-profiles are attached directly to the load-bearing substrate. Precise alignment is important for the panels to fit accurately.

Attaching façade panels:
Panels with retaining grooves are attached to the T-profile without tools - quickly and easily.

Press on & secure:
An integrated pressure spring protects against rattling, while the safety catch prevents unintentional release.

Fix position:
Optionally with joint profile or spacers - to suit the desired joint pattern.

Notes on installation

The substructure must be installed in accordance with project-specific structural calculations. The general building authority approval Z-10.3-844 serves as the basis.

Install T-profiles K20 (item no. 690, 695, 698) plumb and flush.
Align T-profiles K20 exactly horizontally.
Open vertical joints with T-profile K20 (Art. No. 698) or T-profile K20 (Art. No. 695) with spacer (Art. No. 645).
Fixing with single-span support: T-profiles K20 Art. No. 690, 695, 698
Fixing with single-span support with cantilever arm on both sides: T-profile K20 (Art. No. 695), for closed vertical joint use joint insert profile Art. No. 647 for closed vertical joints.

Please note: The use of silicone rubbers should generally be avoided, as silicone oils migrate and create sticky, dirt-binding surfaces. Therefore, please only use the specified system components (punched foam parts, EDPM rubber, neoprene washer) or jointing, adhesive and sealing materials recommended by us, which we will be happy to provide you with up-to-date information on. The usual final construction cleaning is still required. A warranty for the KeraTwin^® K20 system within the scope of the general building inspectorate approval no. Z-10.3-844 only applies when the system components shown on these pages are used.
