Installation principle – How it works:

Installing T-profiles:
Vertical T-profiles are attached directly to the load-bearing substrate. Precise alignment is important for ensuring that the panels fit accurately.

Hanging facade panels:
Panels with retaining grooves are hung in the T-profile without tools – quickly and easily.

Pressing & Securing:
An integrated pressure spring prevents rattling, while the anti-slip device prevents unwanted loosening.

Fix position:
Optionally with joint profile or spacers – to suit the desired joint pattern.

Installation instructions

The substructure must be installed in accordance with a project-specific structural analysis. General building approval Z-10.3-844 serves as the basis for this.

Install the K20 T-profile (item no. 695Q) plumb and level.
The horizontal spacing of the T-profiles K20 is arranged according to static requirements in the longitudinal grid of the panels [L] or [L/2].
Align the T-profiles K20 horizontally with precision.
Open vertical joints with T-profile K20 (item no. 695Q) with spacers (item no. 645).
For closed vertical joints, use joint profile item no. 640Q for single-span girders or joint plug-in profile item no. 647 for single-span girders with cantilevers.

The use of silicone rubbers should generally be avoided, as silicone oils migrate and create sticky, dirt-binding surfaces. Therefore, please only use the recommended system components or consult with us regarding the planned products before processing. The usual final cleaning of the building is still required. A warranty for the KeraTwin® K20 system within the scope of general building approval no. Z-10.3-844 only applies when using the system components shown on these pages.
