The straightforward design fits perfectly into modern layouts and emphasizes different areas of use in an unseen way without being too fashionable. Three classic patterns, lined, checkered, checkerboard – LINES, MESH and SQUARE –, enter into a dialog as decors with the mineral-like basic look. The strict geometry is gently broken up by the natural character of the base tiles, creating a surprisingly „ soft “ impression. This makes it a timeless, homely tile that can be used in the entrance area, kitchen or bathroom. But also in a bistro, café or restaurant.

The mineral origin of the graphic creates pleasant surface colors with homogeneous shades and subtle, soft grains, which individually and in combination with each other create an inviting atmosphere.

Each base color is assigned an accent color in which the different patterns are printed. The greater their proportion of the surface, the more intense the color impression. While the fine lines in the LINES decorative element stand out gently from the background, the contrast is heightened by the checkered pattern in MESH and intensified again in the colorful, gently glittering checkerboard look of SQUARE.

With a keen sense for materials, colors and textures, Sebastian Herkner combines new technologies and traditional craftsmanship. His aim is to emphasize the beauty of the material and draw attention to subtle details. For him, MICRO means focusing, zooming in, discovering.

With floor tiles in 5, 15, 30 and 60 x 60 cm and the large 60 x 120 cm format, various room situations can be catered for. Stair tiles in two formats, plinths and a 5 x 5 cm mosaic complete the portfolio.
