Strata

Timeless colors

Strata reinterprets natural colors. The new ceramic series from Agrob Buchtal was developed in collaboration with color designer Peter Zoernack. Following the example of nature, color tones were sought that correspond to a ceramic, stone material: The result is two color families with eight harmonious colors.

With its nuanced color palette, ceramic implementation and variety of formats, Strata offers architects and planners a useful construction kit for timeless room designs. Technically sophisticated, it meets a wide range of practical requirements for indoor and outdoor areas.

Neutral grey

"Neutral grey" stands for rather neutral muted shades, a warm mediating, i.e. colored grey.

Sunny sand

"Sunny sand" is the motto for loam, clay, lime and pumice. They define the warmer part of the color canon.

Thinking big

Strata is an all-rounder in both aesthetic and practical terms. The two color moods allow for differentiated designs - with options for accentuation. With its restrained color scheme, consistent slip resistance, R10/A+B, and elegant surface appearance, public buildings, bathrooms, kitchens, homes and outdoor areas can be designed consistently. The formats range from 5 x 5 cm mosaics to 60 x 120 cm tiles.

An innovation is the large format for the stairs in 31 x 145 cm. Available with bevel and grooving as required and perfectly complemented by risers and color-contrasting stair nosings.

Strata's concept takes architectural requirements into account and includes practical features to meet planning challenges. Thanks to the Hytect surface, the tiles are very easy to clean, have an antibacterial effect and ensure hygienic cleanliness.

Slip-resistant mosaics for the shower area or the Edge mosaic mat, which allows for tone-on-tone or contrasting design accents, demonstrate the range of the series. And the large-format, seamless shelf in this bathroom proves that a stair tile with a decorated bevelled edge can be used in a new, highly functional way.
