Installation principle – How it works:

Install vertical support structure:
Omega profiles are installed as single-span beams with cantilever arms.

Attach OmegaS support profiles:
Serves as a support and adjustment element for horizontal joints.

Hang and secure panels:
Tool-free installation via retaining grooves – with positioning bracket

Joint solutions:
Joints can be either open or backed (support profile item no. 715).

Installation instructions

The substructure must be installed in accordance with a project-specific structural analysis. General building approval Z-10.3-844 serves as the basis for this.

The profiles of the base substructure must be installed plumb and level.
Fasten horizontal K20 omega profiles (item no. 627) to the pre-assembled vertical substructure using the fasteners supplied. Vertical spacing depending on panel length – single-span (= 1/2 of panel length) with cantilever on both sides (= 1/4 panel length)
Install support profiles in a horizontal grid (panel length + 8 mm).
Insert KeraTwin panels tightly into the structure
Position the position locking brackets on both omega profiles and fasten them in place

Please note: The use of silicone rubbers should generally be avoided, as silicone oils migrate and create sticky, dirt-binding surfaces. Therefore, please use only the recommended system components or consult with us regarding the planned products before processing. The usual final cleaning of the building is still required. A warranty for the KeraTwin® K20 system within the scope of general building approval no. Z-10.3-844 only applies when using the system components shown on these pages.
