System KeraTwin K20 Fastening with OmegaS supporting profile for vertical mounting B

Assembly principle - how it works:

Install the vertical support structure:
Omega profiles are attached to single-span beams or cantilever arms.

Attach OmegaS profile:
Serves as a support and adjustment element for horizontal joints.

Hook in & secure panels:
Fit without tools using retaining grooves - with locking bracket for overhead installation.

Secure joints:
Optionally with joint profile or joint spacer.

Notes on installation

The substructure must be installed in accordance with project-specific structural calculations. The general building authority approval Z-10.3-844 serves as the basis.

  • The profiles of the basic substructure must be installed perpendicular and flush.
  • Attach horizontal K20 Omega profiles (Art. No. 627) to the pre-assembled vertical substructure using the fasteners supplied. Vertical spacing depending on panel length - single-span support (= 1/2 of panel length) with cantilever arm on both sides (= 1/4 panel length)
  • Install support profiles in the height grid (panel length + 8 mm).
  • Push KeraTwin panels firmly into the construction
  • Position and fasten the position securing bracket on both Omega profiles

Omega profiles and OmegaS support profile available for all standard louvres. Other grids available on request.

Please note: The use of silicone rubbers should generally be avoided, as silicone oils migrate and create sticky, dirt-binding surfaces. Therefore, please only use the system components specified (punched foam parts, EDPM rubber, neoprene washer) or jointing, bonding and sealing materials recommended by us, which we will be happy to provide you with up-to-date information on. The usual final construction cleaning is still required. A warranty for the KeraTwin® K20 system within the scope of the general building inspectorate approval no. Z-10.3-844 only applies when using the system components shown on these pages.
