The new Oberstdorf Thermal Baths in the Allgäu region have created a wellness and health centre that combines alpine architecture, sustainable construction and high-quality materials. Designed by Auer Weber Architects, the new building blends sensitively into the mountain landscape with its clearly structured forms, pitched roofs and a vertically structured timber façade.

With the new Smalto series, Agrob Buchtal opens up a fascinating world of ceramic crystal glazes. Inspired by historical glaze studies and transferred to modern industrial production, tiles with extraordinary color intensity and lively effect structures are created.

Agrob Buchtal and designer Sebastian Herkner present MICRO, an elegant tile collection for cosy interiors. In combination with a warm, mineral-based look, fine lines, grids and squares create a deliberately quiet, subtle and comfortable design.

With Dieter Schäfer's transition to an advisory role, Deutsche Steinzeug is concluding a formative era in its history. As early as 2025, the company positioned itself for the future with a multi-member management team and a strengthened capital base. The generational change stands for continuity, stability, and new strategic impetus.
