Deutsche Steinzeug Cremer & Breuer AG has consistently further developed in the Architectural Ceramics market segment with the brand AGROB BUCHTAL in recent years. Modularly combinable colour and format systems, an extensive range of swimming pool products,, slip-resistant surfaces and facade systems are examples of the wide spectrum of solutions for the most diverse industries and areas of application. In 2018, the innovative DryTile laying system ("dry", i.E. usable without tile adhesive) was introduced, which is predestined for all areas where speed and flexibility are required. In order to further strengthen these business segments, the brand will focus its marketing and sales activities even more intensively on architects and key accounts as well as the expansion of digital services in future.
A visible sign of this development is, among other things, the opening of joint showrooms with local partners at international architecture hotspots. The first one took place in September 2019 in Milan. London will follow in the course of 2020 (depending on the further development of the corona crisis), and further locations in interesting export markets are planned. These permanent and independent platforms for consulting and communication as well as other accompanying measures are intended to further intensify and strengthen market proximity and project competence.
Another important field of activity is the expansion of digital services - an aspect which has been an increasingly relevant success factor already for years. Marketing Director Christoph Schulze: "The digitalization in the construction industry is advancing and is gaining speed through topics such as BIM and virtual reality. We must therefore consistently shift budgets in the marketing mix in favour of digital projects".
One consequence of this development is a review of the fair policy and the decision not to participate in the CERSAIE exhibition in 2020 due to its special nature. This decision had already been taken in February this year, and thus before the aggravation of the "corona situation" in Italy. In future, the company will concentrate on exhibitions which, due to their structure and range of products, appeal to players relevant to the project business, such as architects, engineers, planners, interior designers or general contractors. In addition to trade fairs such as, for example, EUROSHOP (shopfitting) or INTERBAD (swimming pool construction and design), the focus will continue to be on the leading international trade fair BAU in Munich, which takes place every two years, because the broadly diversified, cross-trade orientation there enables specialist target groups and market partners to be reached in above-average quality and quantity.
