Unbroken trend:

Large-format tiles

Large tile formats are still very much in vogue. And there are good reasons for this. XXL tiles are an expression of a modern and timeless style of living. They are often used in representative areas such as open-plan living rooms.

Narrow, elegant joints

Rectified edges enable elegant, narrow joints which, in combination with large formats, create a particularly flat and homogeneous effect. In everyday practice, tiles with edge lengths of up to 120 cm are currently relevant. For example, formats such as 60 x 120 cm, 75 x 75 cm, 100 x 100 cm, and up to 120 x 120 cm, because these can be realized with reasonable financial and installation costs.

Small rooms

But large formats can also be used effectively in small rooms. The supposed rule of thumb "small rooms, small formats – large rooms, large formats" has long been outdated: Large formats lend a calm clarity to smaller rooms and areas such as guest WCs, cloakroom niches, corridors, and stair landings. This effect can be used to particularly attractive effect by laying large formats across rooms.

An additional advantage of large formats is that they can also be combined with smaller formats to create exciting compositions.

Processing

However, such high-quality products also require adequate planning and processing. The demands placed on the harmonious division of the respective surfaces or the evenness of the substrate are greater than with normal formats. It is therefore highly recommended to involve professional planners and meticulous craftsmen in order to utilize their experience and expertise for impressive results.
