Agrob Buchtal receives ETA approval for ventilated rainscreen façade system KeraTwin

The internationally recognized competence that Agrob Buchtal has acquired in the important architectural field of ceramic façades is now underlined by the company with the preparation of an ETA ( European Technical Assessment), which will in future be used throughout Europe as proof of the suitability of the ventilated rainscreen façade system within the meaning of the Construction Products Regulation. Through cooperation with the testing institutes, experts and detailed and comprehensive sample calculations, the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBT) issued an ETA-23/0117 for the KeraTwin façade system from Agrob Buchtal on June 4, 2024. The German Institute for Building Technology is the only authority in Germany authorized to issue national certificates of usability and ETAs.

Agrob Buchtal has thus made an important contribution to facade architecture with ceramics - and not only for its own facade systems. This is because market competitors, who also want or have to come up with ETAs, can now achieve the verification faster and much more easily on this basis. The concrete benefits for planners, architects and property developers are enormous. In future, they will be able to simply tick this box when tendering in Europe - in the truest sense of the word.
