The heritage hype that has been going on for years in fashion, lifestyle, and technology has not passed tiles by. Craft evokes familiarity yet appears surprisingly modern: suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the series owes its artisanal character to the depth and transparency of its high-gloss glaze. Compositions of alkaline earth metals, fluxes, and metal oxides interact with the clay body to create particularly bright, intense colors and typical surface structures when fired in an open flame.

Twelve current colors—ranging from white, gray, olive, and golden yellow to amber and teal—offer design flexibility and an extraordinary aesthetic. The brick slip formats with a 3D effect are particularly appealing. Concave profiles, wave profiles, and large double-pointed tiles are primarily used in facade design and reflect a renaissance of classic architectural ceramics, as can currently be observed in many European countries.
